Adidas Messi 16.1 Shock Blue / Matte Silver / Black
This is the first Adidas Messi 2016-2017 boot Colorway.
Combining the main color blue with silver for the Three Stripes and a striking orange Adidas logo on the heel area, the second next-gen Adidas Messi boot Colorway boasts a similar color scheme as his Copa America boots.
Adidas combines the blue and black upper of the first Adidas Messi boot for the 2016-17 season with a solid blue outsole that features a subtle splatter graphic pattern. The Shock Blue Adidas Messi 2016-17 boot features a clean design that won't be hated by anyone.
From a tech point of view, Messi's first boot for the 2016-2017 campaign is the same as the boot introduced for the Copa America. The next-gen Adidas Messi 16.1 boot features a textile Agilityknit upper and a traditional low-cut ankle design, while the boot comes without the MessiCage element of the first generation.
The sole plate of the Adidas Messi 2016-2017 boots has been also redesigned and now comes with a mixture of very small conical (two in the rear area, two in the front area) and triangular studs (seven).
The Shock Blue Adidas Messi 16.1 2016-2017 boot retails at a price of 200 Euro (~190 USD, ~150 GBP) and will hit stores both as FG and AG version in July 2016.
