In a highly unusual and long-awaited move, Nike has finally made the Uruguay 2024 home and away kits available for retail sale, a full year after they were first debuted by the national team.

The first retail versions have been acquired by a Vietnamese football shirt collector @hoangvietn313, who managed to purchase both the home and away kits.
Fans of La Celeste have seen their team wear the classic 2024 kits throughout the past year in World Cup qualifiers and other fixtures, but have been unable to purchase them until now.
Nike chose to release the 2024 Uruguay kits, worn by the men's national team. Although earlier this year Nike launched new 2025 kits, they were exclusively for the women's national team, as well as the beach soccer and futsal teams.
This late release means fans will have a relatively short window to purchase the 2024 kits. Nike is expected to launch an all-new collection for Uruguay ahead of the 2026 World Cup, which will replace the current designs.
