Set to be released in May 2016 with a stunning Silver Metallic, Core Black and Solar Red paint job ahead of the Euro 2016 in France, the red colorway of the next-generation Adidas X 2016-2017 Kangaroo Leather Football Boots is the second colorway of the speed leather boots.
Adidas X 16.1 Leather - Solar Red / Silver Metallic / Hi-Res Red
This is second paint job of the next-gen Adidas X 2016-2017 Leather Soccer Boots.
Combining the main color Solar Red with Silver Metallic for the Adidas logo on the outstep, the red Adidas X 16.1 Kangaroo Leather Football Shoes are designed to stand out in the first months of the 2016-17 season. Adidas combines the Solar Red main colorway with Hi-Res Red for the trademark techfit collar, which features a subtle graphic pattern. In fact, the design is exactly the same as the one of the synthetic version, apart from the unique all-over speed print that is an exclusive feature of the synthetic edition.
The next-gen Adidas X 2016-2017 comes with a super soft Kangaroo leather upper and a techfit collar for a sock-like fit with no distractions. The front area of the next-gen Adidas X 2016-2017 Football Boots features a traditional stitching that is quite similar to the one used for the discontinued Adidas F50 Adizero Leather Editions, whereas the other parts come without additional stitching.
Apart from the K-Leather upper, the second generation of the Adidas X 2016-2017 Leather Football Boots offer the same features as the synthetic Adidas X 16.1. The next-gen Adidas X 2016-2017 Kangaroo Leather Soccer Cleat comes with a completely redesigned outsole that is made for ultimate speed featuring an external heel counter, an arch in the midfoot area and a 'speed stud configuration'.
The red next-gen Adidas retails at a price of 200 Euro (200 USD, 160 GBP - same price as the synthetic edition) and is set to be available from July 2016 at selected retailers.
This boot will - extremely likely - not disappoint you. Will you get your hands on the red next-gen Adidas X 2016-2017 Kangaroo Leather Boots? Let us know in the comments below.

FC Cartagena 26-27 Away Kit Released
Spanish side FC Cartagena and Macron have officially launched their new away kit for the 26-27 season, paying homage to the city's rich three-thousand-year heritage. Draped in traditional carmesí red, the jersey is decorated with an intricate all-over graphic pattern inspired by an ancient Roman mosaic uncovered in the crypt beneath the Catedral de Santa María la Vieja. Elegant gold detailing highlights the monochrome crest, collar trim, sleeve cuffs, and sponsor emblems, completed by the Latin motto Carthago Nova Invicta Est subtly sublimated onto the lower hem.
Nike to Sell Long-Sleeve Besiktas Kits From 27-28 Season
Nike is set to introduce commercially available long-sleeve kits for Beşiktaş starting from the 27-28 season. Following the club's major switch from Adidas after 17 years, supporters will finally have direct access to official long-sleeve match jerseys at retail. Big thanks to @ertansuzgun & @Formaholic.
The timing aligns with significant milestone celebrations in Istanbul, as Nike is also planning a special 125th-anniversary collection for Beşiktaş during the 27-28 campaign to mark the club's foundation in 1903. Rather than relying on base layers and compression undershirts, players and fans alike will see dedicated long-sleeve designs included in the lineup.
The development forms part of Nike's wider strategy to bring back commercial long-sleeve authentic shirts across its elite roster from 27-28 onwards. By expanding long-sleeve availability to Beşiktaş, Nike closes the gap on rivals like Adidas and provides the Black Eagles with full top-tier treatment under their new partnership.
