Next-Gen Adidas X Euro 2016 Boots Released
The next-gen Adidas X Euro 2016 Boot introduces a spectacular design for the launch colorway of the second-gen Adidas X Boot. The Adidas X 2016-2017 Football Boot was launched on May 24, 2016.
In May 2015, Adidas revealed the totally new Adidas X Soccer Cleats. Debuted in the 2015 UEFA Champions League final in Berlin, the Adidas X Soccer Cleat is made for players who create chaos on the pitch featuring a lightweight design with a high-ankle collar concept.
Adidas X 16.1 Silver Metallic / Core Black / Solar Red
This is the next-gen Adidas X 2016 Soccer Boot.
Boasting a silver metallic upper, the next-gen Adidas X Euro 2016 Soccer Boot is designed to stand out. Adidas combines the shimmering upper of the silver Adidas X Euro 2016 Boots with striking red for the techfit collar and the end of the studs. The outstep boasts the famous Adidas logo with the same spray effect that is also used for the Adidas Euro 2016 Away Kit numbers.
The instep of the new Adidas X Euro 2016 Soccer Cleats features the techfit and X logos. A subtle graphic pattern on the techfit collar rounds off the design of the next-gen Adidas X Euro 2016 Boots.
Designed for speed and ultimate comfort, the next-gen Adidas X 2016 Boots combine a techfit collar for a sock-like fit with a ultra-thin one-piece upper for ultimate ball control. The touch area of the upper of the second-gen Adidas X 2016 Soccer Boots comes with remarkable grooves that symbolize the speed of the silo while also providing superior ball control.
The next-gen silver Adidas X Euro 2016 Soccer Cleat has a completely tongue-less design. The boot also removes the X-cage in the midfoot area. Made for more stability, the X-cage was one of the most remarkable elements of the first-gen Adidas X 15.1 Boots.
Whereas the upper of the next-gen Adidas X 2016 Boots is quite similar to the one of the first generation, the sole plate of the next-generation Adidas X 2016-2017 Boots has been completely redesigned.
The next-gen Adidas X 2016 Boots feature an external heel counter for more lockdown and speed and have a traditional stud configuration with four studs in the heel area and seven studs in the forefoot area. For even more stability, Adidas added an arch in the midfoot area.
The Silver Metallic, Core Black and Solar Red Next-Gen Adidas X Euro 2016 Boot retails at a price of 200 Euro (200 USD, 160 GBP - same price as the previous generation) and is set available from early May 24, 2016.
