Blue Adidas X 16+ PureChaos 2016-2017 Boots Released

Adidas has followed up the release of the Speed of Light pack with the launch of a blue-and-red colorway for its X 16+ PureChaos football boots. The Collegiate Royal Adidas X 16+ PureChaos soccer cleats are available through Adidas' official stores and select retailers.
Adidas X 16+ PureChaos - Collegiate Royal / Solar Red / Silver Metallic
This is the third Adidas X PureChaos 2016 football boot colorway.
Inspired by the regular, all-red July paint job of the Adidas X 16+ PureChaos, the royal blue Adidas X 16+ PureChaos 2016-17 football boots see the sole plate remain red, with a shimmery metallic finish, while the entire upper is switched to blue. The lateral Adidas Performance logo of the blue Adidas X 16+ cleats is silver.
Tech-wise, the Collegiate Royal Adidas X PureChaos 2016-2017 boots don't feature any new details. Boasting a lace-cover construction, the Adidas X 16+ PureChaos 2016 boots are designed to offer a larger, cleaner striking surface and feature a with an external heel counter for more speed and traction.
Already available since mid-July, the blue-and-red Adidas X PureChaos cleats retail at $300 (€300).

Premium Material Returns to the World Cup Champions Badge
Alongside the second star above the crest, Spain officially unveiled a new 3D embossed World Champions badge during their recent 3-2 victory over England in the UEFA Nations League. This badge previously appeared on Spain's jersey after their 2026 FIFA World Cup triumph.
Compared to the heat-applied plastic version seen on Argentina's kits, the new badge from Cromotransfer offers a significantly more premium look, featuring an embossed surface and a multi-layered structure. Before that, Adidas has increasingly shifted to pre-applying tournament and champions badges directly in its manufacturing facilities.
However, this upgrade will be exclusive to the authentic player-version jerseys. The fan-version replica shirts will continue to feature the standard heat-transferred plastic badge.
