Pure Platinum Nike Hypervenom Phantom II 2016-17 Elite Pack Boots Released

Nike kicks off the new season with an interesting colorway for the Nike Hypervenom Phantom II. Combining a light grey base with grey, black and lime green detailing, the Pure Platinum Nike Hypervenom Phantom II 16-17 football boots are set to be worn from mid August.

Predominantly light grey, the new Nike Hypervenom Phantom II soccer boots combine this understated base with eye-catching trim in lime green, while the iconic zig-zag design on the outside of the shoes is silver with a black splatter pattern. The tongue area and collar of the Pure Platinum Nike Hypervenom Phantom 2 2016 boots is grey.
Tech-wise, the Platinum Nike Hypervenom Phantom II boots boast a tongue-less construction with a heightened Flyknit collar, while the thin NikeSkin upper features a honeycomb-like structure and is designed to ease the break-in period and provide a flexible and responsive feel.
Set to be available from August 16 2016, the light grey Nike Hypervenom Phantom boots retail at 275 USD (275 Euro, 230 GBP). The same colorway will also be launched for the Nike Hypervenom Phinish football boot model which features a more traditional approach without a heightened collar.

Valenciennes FC 26-27 Third Kit Released
French club Valenciennes FC and Danish brand Hummel have officially released their new third kit for the 2026-27 season. Completing the club's set of shirts for the campaign, the new release pays homage to the traditional lace-making heritage and textile craftsmanship of Valenciennes and the wider Hainaut region.
The Hummel Valenciennes 26-27 third jersey features a deep blue base highlighted by subtle vertical bands incorporating intricate floral lace graphics. These patterned columns are framed by thin yellow pinstripes, matching the signature Hummel chevrons on the shoulders. A vintage-styled white polo collar and matching sleeve cuffs add contrast, while the club crest and Toyota sponsor logo are rendered in clean white.
Continuing the theme of embedding local identity into their designs—following the home shirt inspired by museum stained glass and the away shirt featuring regional symbols—the Valenciennes FC 26-27 third kit is available now via the club's official online store and physical club shop.
