Nike has prepared an understated-yet-striking colorway to kick off the new season of the Hypervenom. Combining a light grey base with grey, black and lime green detailing, the Pure Platinum Nike Hypervenom Phinish 2016 football boots are set for a release in August.

This draft shows the first Nike Hypervenom Phinish soccer cleat paint job for 2016-17.
Predominantly light grey, the new Nike Hypervenom Phinish 2016-2017 soccer boots combine this understated base with eye-catching trim in lime green, while the iconic zig-zag design on the outside of the shoes comes in a darker grey with a black splatter pattern. The tongue area and sockliner of the Pure Platinum Nike Hypervenom Phinish 2016 boots is also colored in grey.
Tech-wise, the Nike Hypervenom Phinish in Pure Platinum and Ghost Green boasts a tongue-less construction, while the thin NikeSkin upper features a honeycomb-like structure and is designed to ease the break-in period and provide a flexible and responsive feel.
The outsole of the light grey Nike Hypervenom Phinish 2016-17 boots comes with conical studs for rotational agility and is in fact identical to the one used for the higher-priced Nike Hypervenom Phantom II cleats.
Set for an August 2016 release, the Pure Platinum Nike Hypervenom Phinish retails at $200 (€200, £160).

FC Cartagena 26-27 Away Kit Released
Spanish side FC Cartagena and Macron have officially launched their new away kit for the 26-27 season, paying homage to the city's rich three-thousand-year heritage. Draped in traditional carmesí red, the jersey is decorated with an intricate all-over graphic pattern inspired by an ancient Roman mosaic uncovered in the crypt beneath the Catedral de Santa María la Vieja. Elegant gold detailing highlights the monochrome crest, collar trim, sleeve cuffs, and sponsor emblems, completed by the Latin motto Carthago Nova Invicta Est subtly sublimated onto the lower hem.
