MLS club Sporting Kansas City today wore a special kit in their MLS match against Seattle Sounders in memory of KCK Police Captain Robert Melton who was killed in a shooting Tuesday afternoon.

This is Sporting KC's special 2016 shirt.
Featuring the same design as Sporting KC's 2015 third kit, the special Sporting Kansas City jersey comes with a golden patch on the upper right in memory of KCK Police Captain Robert Melton.
All shirts worn in today's match will be auctioned off to benefit Captain Melton's family as well as proceeds from the 433 auction.
