Athletic Bilbao Sign New Balance Kit Deal

New Balance today announced that they will replace Nike as kit supplier of the Basque club. Nike had been making Athletic's shirt since 2013. New Balance is he sixth supplier in the history of the club.

Josu Urrutia, Athletic Club President, commented: "We are delighted to embrace and share this new era for the Club, in which we face the tough task of defending our philosophy and moving forward based on our own approach to football. We feel that New Balance will become part of the history of our club, and are looking forward to working together on the challenges that await us in the future.”

New Balance Announce Athletic Bilbao Kit Deal

Nike has a contract to make Athletic Bilbao's shirt until June 30 2017. New Balance becomes Athletic Bilbao's kit supplier from July 1 2017. According to Basque newspaper El Correo, New Balance pays the club more than the 2.5 million Euro Nike paid the club per season.

Richard Wright, General Manager of New Balance Football, said: "We are delighted that Athletic Club has joined New Balance Football, we are looking forward to working closely with a great club with such fantastic traditions. As well as celebrating the club's heritage, we will bring innovation and world class product to the club and its fan base. We're certainly looking forward to unveiling our first kit collection very soon."

Germany 2026 World Cup Numbers Announced

Update - June 9, 2026: Retailer subsidesports has created a stunning college image showcasing the Adidas Germany 2026 World Cup typeface, applied to both the kit and the full squad lineup. They have also given us a first look at the new 2026 World Cup sleeve badge on the Germany shirt.

The German national team has released its official squad shirt numbers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Manuel Neuer retains the number one jersey in goal, with Oliver Baumann at twelve and Alexander Nübel at twenty-one. Defensively, Antonio Rüdiger wears two, Joshua Kimmich six, Nico Schlotterbeck fifteen, and Malick Thiaw twenty-four. On the attacking side, Jamal Musiala takes the ten, Florian Wirtz seventeen, Jamie Leweling nine, and Leroy Sané nineteen.
