Landon Donovan has returned to football wearing a classy blackout pair of Nike's Tiempo Legend boot after he retired two years ago wearing Nike's now-discontinued CTR Maestri football boots.

This is the boot worn by Landon Donovan against Orlando City this weekend.

The boots worn by Landon Donovan were created using Nike's customization service NikeiD. The upper is completely black, while the sole plate comes with white lettering Tiempo.

However, whereas blackout boots usually could mean that Landon Donovan's time with Nike has come to an end, it is unlikely that he has left the Swoosh as he wore a Nike t-shirt in an interview just four days ago.
