Blue Blast Adidas Ace 17+ PureControl Boots Revealed
The latest colorway of the Adidas Ace 17+ PureControl football boots introduces a bold look for the second iteration of Adidas' laceless cleats. Set to be available to buy from Janaury 23, the black, blue, white and pink Adidas Ace PureControl cleats are part of the Adidas Blue Blast collection.
Adidas introduced its first high-cut laceless football boots, the Ace 16+ PureControl in January this year. For the second generation of the model, the biggest change from Adidas has to be the addition of Boost technology, both in the midsole and sockliner.

This is the Blue Blast colorway of the Adidas Ace 17+ PureControl cleats.
Once again introducing a split design, the Adidas Ace 17+ PureControl Blue Blast boots blue in the front and black in the rear. This rather standard base is complemented by pink-outlined, silver Adidas stripes on the outstep of the Ace 17+ PureControl Blue Blast, with further subtle pink details visible on the studs.
Designed to offer players a clean surface, the Blue Blast Adidas Ace 17+ PureControl cleats have a laceless construction and a Primeknit upper with a NSG (Non-Stop Grip) texture. Adidas Boost technology in the midsole and sockliner of the black and pink Adidas Ace 17+ PureControl soccer boots is aimed at producing a greater energy return than regular football boots.
The black, blue and white Adidas Ace 17+ PureControl football boots will be released on January 23. Part of the Blue Blast collection, they retail at $300 (€300, £230).
