Happy Birthday - Marcus Rashford's Already Impressive Boot History

Manchester United and England international Marcus Rashford celebrates his birthday today. And even though he just turns 19 today, the striker has already worn a ton of interesting football boots during his career so far.

Rashford joined Manchester United at the age of seven, he scored twice in both his first-team debut (Europa League) after the warm-up injury of striker Anthony Martial and in his first Premier League game in February 2016 (against Arsenal). He also scored in his first Manchester derby game, and his first League Cup game.

Manchester United Academy Years - Blackout Boots

Marcus Rashford joined Manchester United at the age of seven and has been wearing Nike boots on all pictures we found. However, due to Man Utd's 'Black Boots Only Rule' that forces academy players to wear blackout cleats, the England international was forced either to use blackout Nike boots or to custom blackout his footwear. Most interestingly during his academy time is the fact that he not always laced up in Nike's Mercurial boots but also used a blacked-out version of the low-cut Hypervenom Phinish - pictured above.

Manchester United Senior Career - From Blackouts over Regular Releases to Signature Boots?

Rashford made an impressive first-team debut for Man Utd scoring two goals wearing custom blacked-out Nike Mercurial Vapor X soccer cleats, while he soon switched to regular releases of the Swoosh, while he also received two custom England editions of the Superfly V during the Euro.
