Original article - October 13: Real Madrid defender Raphaël Varane has become the second player to train in a blackout version of the Nike Tiempo Legend 7 2017-18 soccer cleats after Dani Carvajal already gave us a detailed look at the boots in four different training sessions this week.

Raphaël Varane wears the same boot as Dani Carvajal, which actually confirms that they are wearing the next-generation of Nike's Tiempo boots.

Set to feature a super soft Kangaroo leather in the upper, the next-gen Nike Tiempo Legend 7 boots most remarkably ditches the complete traditional stitching with an brand-new, Flywire-like support skeleton. The other parts of the cleat are similar to the current generation, while the second eye-catching difference is the tongue.

Unfortunately, the pictures of the French defender wearing the next-gen Tiempo cleat do not give us a look at the sole plate of the boot, just as it was the case with Carvajal.
