Puma evoPOWER Vigor Olivier Giroud 2017 North London Derby Boots Released

Puma this morning release a special-edition evoPOWER Vigor to be worn by Olivier Giroud ahead of the second North London derby of the season (April 30) after they already revealed a Puma evoTOUCH soccer cleat for Santi Cazorla for the first encounter between the two rivals. The Puma evoPOWER Vigor Giroud cleats boast the famous colors of Arsenal.

The special-edition Puma evoPOWER Vigor Giroud boots feature the colors of Arsenal's home jersey.

Like Santi Cazorla's Puma evoTOUCH signature boots, the new Puma evoPOWER Vigor Giroud boots feature the colors of his club Arsenal, while they come without navy applications. The Arsenal cannon is visible on the instep of the Olivier Giroud Puma evoPOWER Vigor cleats.

The Puma evoPOWER Vigor Giroud cleats feature the 'Derby Fever' graphic on the outside rear as well as the lettering North London derby on the toe area to mark the match that will be played in late April.

Tech-wise, Giroud's exclusive Puma evoPOWER Vigor boots are the same as all other regular editions of Puma's power model. They feature an one-way stretchable upper as well as a tongue-less slip-in construction for ultimate power and comfort.

Just as the Santi Cazorla evoTOUCH boots, the new Puma evoPOWER Vigor Olivier Giroud football boots will only be released in the high-priced evoPOWER Vigor 1 variant at a slightly higher retail price than standard colorways (€250). They are available from April 24, 2017.

Argentina Lionel Messi World Cup Kit History

The official Argentina national team account has released a special image paying tribute to Messi’s journey through the FIFA World Cups he has participated in, and is set to participate in, throughout his career. Published just ahead of the 2026 World Cup, the image provides a visual journey through the various kits worn by the legendary captain since his World Cup debut in 2006.

The collage highlights the evolution of Argentina’s home and away kits across six consecutive World Cups, featuring the different designs and squad numbers worn by Messi. It showcases his early days in the number 19 shirt and his iconic, long-standing tenure in the number 10. The graphic serves as a retrospective of his milestones, spanning from his first World Cup appearance in 2006 to the team's historic triumph in the 2022 tournament.

Messi, along with Cristiano Ronaldo and Guillermo Ochoa, became the first three players in history to participate in six consecutive FIFA World Cups during their careers.

Accompanying the graphic is the message "Let's go for one more, LEGEND!", building anticipation for the 2026 World Cup where Argentina will compete as defending champions. The post has sparked nostalgia among fans, with many reminiscing about their favorite classic kits from Messi's international career, particularly the 2006 and 2014 editions.

England 2026 World Cup Kit Font Prepared with Laser

Football kit retailer @subsidesports has offered a behind-the-scenes look into their printing operations ahead of the 2026 World Cup. In a recent social media update, the company shared a video of their heat press machinery in action, highlighting the process behind their Fan Style customization service. This service utilizes official typefaces and plotter sheets to apply names and numbers to replica shirts, ensuring an authentic look for supporters.

The short video features what eagle-eyed followers suspect to be a Transmatic REV 5SA heat press, a heavy-duty machine used for professional garment decoration.

One standout detail is that they used lasers to ensure the names and numbers were placed with absolute precision on the back of the jerseys. It’s a testament to Subside Sports’ commitment to craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Adidas Teams Twinned by Product Code & Design

Update - Sunday, June 7, 2026: As spotted Indonesian jersey experts @Jerseyforum, Adidas teams with the same design also share the product. In particular, they do not have the usual Team + Shirt Type Name (e.g. FCB A 26 JSY), but are called Custom Licensed Jersey (CULIC26 JSY).

Templates are not as common as they were in the past, but smaller Adidas teams still do not have custom designs always. In the outgoing 25-26 season, teams such as Düsseldorf, Al Ahly, and Sparta Praha all used the same Locker Room design with custom colors.
