Nike MercurialX Proximo Cristiano Ronaldo Chapter 3 Discovery Boots Released

Nike's new Chapter 3 - Discovery Cristiano Ronaldo soccer boots will also be released for the Nike MercurialX Proximo model, fit for the turf and court surfaces of 5-a-side football.

Nike MercurialX Proximo II CR7 Chapter 3 - Seaweed / Hasta / Volt

This is the striking Nike MercurialX Proximo 2 in the Cristiano Ronaldo edition, dubbed "Chaper 3 - Discovery".

Taking inspiration from the friendly between Ronaldo, then at Sporting and Manchester United on August 8, 2003, a key factor in CR7's transfer to United later that month, the Nike MercurialX Proximo Cristiano Ronaldo Chapter 3 Discovery boots are dark green, derived from Sporting's kit color. While the outside is entirely green bar a pattern of reflective dots, the inside fades from Volt at the front to green at the back.

Whereas the sole plate of the outdoor version is white, the outsole of the Seaweed Nike MercurialX Proximo Discovery soccer shoes is Volt. The iconic CR7 logo is applied to the inside rear and an aerial view of Sporting's Alvalade stadium is present on the sockliner.

Tech-wise, the Nike MercurialX Proximo CR7 Chapter 3 Discovery boots bring the construction and feel of their on-pitch counterpart to the small-sided game.

Nike MercurialX Proximo II CR7 Chapter 3 - Features

  • Flyknit upper and Dynamic Fit collar
  • Full-length Phylon midsole
  • Tri-star outsole with flex grooves
  • Indoor / court (IC) outsole for street, court and indoor surfaces

Available to buy from November 7, 2016, the Nike MercurialX Proximo II Cristiano Ronaldo Chapter 3 Discovery football shoes retail at $185.
