Scotland to Wear Pink Against England

For the first time in history, the Scottish national team won't wear its home kit against England, as FIFA deemed the current Scotland home jersey to similar to England's and asked the Scots to switch to the unloved pink away kit in the two country's 2018 World Cup qualifying game later this month.

Scotland has always worn its home kit against England, home and away, and there shouldn't really be any issue distinguishing the current Scotland home kit (navy body, white sleeves) from the all-white England kit. If it weren't for kit rules being enforced more strictly recently, this whole thing would be a non-issue.

Anyhow, FIFA's decision has sparked a relatively sizable outcry, with fans asking Adidas to produce a one-off all-navy Scotland shirt for the game, similar to what Nike is doing for France with the away kit. Adidas itself made a 'new' Spain away kit for presumably the same reason last month.
