Maccabi Tel Aviv to Produce Own 2017-18 Kit

Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv this Monday announced that it will design, produce and manufacture its own Sportswear line to meet the needs of its fans, who requested unique jerseys. Maccabi Tel Aviv's 2016-17 jerseys are made by Adidas.
Maccabi Tel Aviv to Produce 2017-18 Kits In-House
Maccabi Tel Aviv launched its own sportswear brand, the Maccabi Tel Aviv FC Brand.
Maccabi will be assisted by specialists and consultants from Israel and abroad who have worked with leading sports brands in order to produce first class high level products. The product line will have unique designs and be manufactured using the latest technology in order to create a truly innovative line of Sportswear for Maccabi Tel Aviv FC, its players and fans.
Owner Mitch Goldhar said: "The Israeli league like other similar size markets are not being offered the range of kit as in other European countries by the large brand manufacturers. Producing our own kit will give us the flexibility we need. The Maccabi Tel Aviv FC Brand will offer a first class quality that our fans deserve."
Sports Director Jordi Cruyff added: "This move demonstrates more than ever the collaboration of all parties involved to supply garments to fit the players' needs. This is an innovative process where we all join forces to award both players and fans with the best ever product."
Maccabi Tel Aviv FC will continue working with Adidas until the end of the 2016-17 season which concludes the current.
Premium Material Returns to the World Cup Champions Badge
Alongside the second star above the crest, Spain officially unveiled a new 3D embossed World Champions badge during their recent 3-2 victory over England in the UEFA Nations League. This badge previously appeared on Spain's jersey after their 2026 FIFA World Cup triumph.
Compared to the heat-applied plastic version seen on Argentina's kits, the new badge from Cromotransfer offers a significantly more premium look, featuring an embossed surface and a multi-layered structure. Before that, Adidas has increasingly shifted to pre-applying tournament and champions badges directly in its manufacturing facilities.
However, this upgrade will be exclusive to the authentic player-version jerseys. The fan-version replica shirts will continue to feature the standard heat-transferred plastic badge.
