Update: Jermaine Jones has switched to the next-gen Under Armour ClutchFit 2017 football boots after he previously totally surprisingly laced up in Adidas X 16.1 last month, which is a strong indicator that his time with Under Armour is not up yet.

US national team and new LA Galaxy player Jermaine Jones laced up in Adidas X boots this week, strongly suggesting that his contract with Under Armour is already up.

Jermaine Jones seems to join Adidas as he laced up in the Adidas X Red Limit soccer cleats. Interestingly, he opted for Adidas' X boot and not for the Adidas Ace, which would be technically the better choice for the US Soccer international.

An Under Armour player since November 2014, Jermaine Jones had been wearing boots from the brand's ClutchFit silo until the end of 2016, while he also received one signature boot from Under Armour.
