Podolski Scores 5 Wearing Adidas Copa 17 Boots
Before the first colorways of the Adidas Copa 17 were released, many people, us included, hoped that - unlike the Gloro, the new heritage football boots from Adidas would receive on-pitch endorsements. Although this hasn't happened so far, former Bayern Munich and Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski wore them when he scored five during his club's 6-2 rout of Erzincanspor. Podolski Wears "Crowning Glory" Adidas Copa 17
Podolski opted for the "Crowning Glory" limited-edition colorway of the Copa 17, which was released just before Christmas. It is white with subdued gold accents, including the sole plate and a Copa Mundial-inspired detail on the heel.
