These 10 Boots Sold Out the Fastest in 2016

To celebrate the new year, a very interesting statistic emerged detailing the football boots that sold out the fastest on the popular online store that is Pro-Direct.
Although the list is dominated by limited-edition drops, as expected, a couple of regular releases squeezed their way into the Top 10. A sign of the brand's return to strength, both the Red Limit launch colorway of the Ace 17+ and the Dark Space rendition of its predecessor entered the list for Adidas. But let's dive right into it.
10: Nike Premier Blackout
Released in the last month of the year, the blackout Nike Premier enjoyed great popularity, in part due to its very fair price tag.
9: Adidas Gloro 15.1 Blackout
All black, this Gloro 15.1 is perhaps something of a surprise entry in this list - perhaps it can be explained by this particular silhouette's relative scarce availability elsewhere.
8: Adidas Ace 17+ PureControl Red Limit
The Boost-powered second-generation Adidas Ace 17+ was among the ten fastest selling boots and that without being limited in any form. Quite the achievement.
7: Adidas Gloro 15.1 - Black / Red
Interestingly, a very similar boot will release very soon in the form of the Copa Gloro 17.2, so be quick if you want to get them.
6: Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl Dark Space
Once more proving that the brands can't really go wrong with black boots, the Dark Space Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl was the sixth fastest boot to sell out in 2016.
5: Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl Space Craft
Limited to 1,500 pairs, the Space Craft Adidas Ace 16+ PureControl is still the only of its kind to feature a (partial) leather upper. Its wild combo of gold and black wasn't meant for everyone, but it didn't stop it from finishing on a strong fifth place here.
4: Nike Tiempo Legend VI Pirlo
Another limited edition, Nike honored legendary midfield maestro Andrea Pirlo with his very own colorway of the Tiempo Legend. Limited to 3,000 pairs.
3: Adidas 99g
A throwback to the 2013 concept and 2015 release, the 2016 Adidas 99g boots were launched as part of the brand's Limited Collection.

This eye-catching collaboration between sports brand and video game was limited to 1,500 pairs.

Combining no less than 16 iconic Mercurial colorways into one, the "What the Mercurial" was limited to 3,000 pairs and sold out within a matter of minutes.

No More Score: In-House Saint Vincent and the Grenadines 2026 Kits Released
The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation (SVGFF) has officially unveiled the new 2026 kit collection for the national team, nicknamed Vincy Heat. Marking a departure from previous technical sponsor Score, who had supplied the Caribbean side since 2021, the federation has opted to design and produce the new jerseys entirely in-house under the campaign moniker "Ours."
The launch showcases three distinct colorways directly inspired by the country's national flag: vibrant yellow, royal blue, and emerald green. All three kits share a unified template featuring a sharp V-neck collar, subtle contrast piping along the shoulders, and matching ribbed cuffs. Across the front and sleeves, each jersey incorporates a dynamic diagonal brushstroke graphic filled with repeating micro-motifs representing the three diamonds from the flag.
Contrasting details complete the look across the range, with royal blue trim and numbering adorning the primary yellow shirt, while bright yellow accents finish off the blue and green editions. Underpinned by slogans such as "Our Nation. Our Culture. V-Varen Nagasaki 26-27 Peace Kit Released
Japanese club V-Varen Nagasaki and technical partner Fanatics have officially unveiled their special Peace Prayer Uniform for the 26-27 season. The commemorative strip continues the club's annual initiative of releasing dedicated peace jerseys, sharing messages of peace from Nagasaki to the wider football world.
The 26-27 special edition is themed "Pray in Layers" and serves as a retrospective collage of symbols from the club's previous peace shirts. The vibrant design incorporates subtle motifs of the Nagasaki Peace Statue, the surrounding sea and sky, Unzen azaleas, olive leaves, origami paper cranes, doves, and feathers. The outfield jersey showcases these overlapping elements in a soft pastel watercolor palette over an off-white base, while the goalkeeper variant features the identical artwork treated in a tonal slate blue-grey aesthetic.
V-Varen Nagasaki will wear the new strip on October 21, 2026, in their Peace Match fixture against Sanfrecce Hiroshima. Offered in authentic player-issue specifications, the limited-edition jerseys are being made available through a brief pre-order window running until September 24 via the club's official store.
Eintracht Frankfurt Frauen 26-27 European Kit Released
Eintracht Frankfurt Frauen and Adidas have officially unveiled an exclusive new "Europatrikot" for the 26-27 season. Designed specifically for the team's campaign in the UEFA Women’s Europa Cup, the kit symbolizes the international journeys and unity of the Adlerträgerinnen.
The Adidas Eintracht Frankfurt Frauen 26-27 European jersey is based on a black canvas covered with an intricate, dynamic gray path pattern running across the torso and lower back. A clean white Adidas logo and the Indeed sponsor contrast against the dark background, while subtle gray three stripes run along the shoulders. Above the club crest sit two golden stars celebrating their league championship history, joined by Generali on the sleeve and LOTTO Hessen on the back.
Matching black shorts and socks complete the uniform. The Eintracht Frankfurt Frauen 26-27 European kit is available now through the club's official webshop and selected retail outlets for €100.
Nike Mercurial 26-27 'United' Pack 4 Boots Leaked - 3 New Pictures
rfboots has leaked new images of the new Nike Mercurial Superfly 11 boots, part of the United 004 collection, which will be released soon.
The boots feature a fresh light blue primary color with vibrant orange details, including a silver Swoosh with orange outlining and an orange Nike United logo on the heel.
Bristol Rovers 26-27 Third Kit Released
Bristol Rovers have officially unveiled their new 26-27 third kit, produced by Puma. The tertiary strip was already given an on-pitch debut by the squad during their recent League Two away match against Gillingham.
The Puma Bristol Rovers 26-27 third shirt introduces a stylish look with a black base and soft pink accents. A subtle tonal line pattern covers the front and back of the torso, complemented by contrasting pink inserts along the shoulders, side panels, and collar. The monochrome club crest, Puma cat branding, and front-of-shirt sponsor Pukka are all finished in the same matching pink shade.
Black shorts and black socks with pink detailing complete the new Puma Bristol Rovers 26-27 third uniform. Season ticket holders will have early access to purchase the strip at an exclusive club shop event on September 24, followed by a general in-store release on September 25 and online sales starting September 28.
