Makeshift Tongue: Tom Davies' One-of-a-Kind Adidas Ace 17 Boots
Everton youngster Tom Davies is one of the standout newcomers this season in the Premier League. Besides effortlessly breaking into the Everton starting 11, Davies also caught attention for his uniquely customized Adidas Ace 17 boots. Let's take a closer look.
Tom Davies' Unique Adidas Ace 17.1 Leather
Originally featuring a one-piece Primeknit collar construction, Davies modified his Adidas Ace 17.1 Leather soccer boots in the way that he creating something of a makeshift tongue by cutting into the upper on both sides of the center.
Since Davies was wearing leather Adidas Ace 16 boots, which feature a traditional tongue, before, it is likely that he just doesn't like the one-piece construction of the Ace 17 very much.
