Liverpool 17-18 Home Kit Released
The Liverpool 17-18 home kit introduces a spectacular retro look to celebrate the club's 125th anniversary. Inspired by the Liverpool jerseys of the 1970s, the Liverpool 2017-18 home shirt is of a darker red than in recent years, while it features a special logo to commemorate the anniversary.
Liverpool 17-18 Home Kit
This is the Liverpool 17-18 kit.
Drawing inspiration from the style of shirts worn by the club in the 1970s, the Liverpool 17-18 home kit features a darker shade of red than in any season with New Balance / Warrior so far.
Neatly complementing the base are white accents in the form of the collar and sleeve, both of which feature a red stripe, alongside subtle pinstriping on the front and back.
The Liverpool 2017-18 home shirt was unveiled on April 27 and will go on sale on May 19. Reason for that are the celebrations for the 125th anniversary - Liverpool was founded in 1892 - that kicked off early.
As leaked before the release, the Liverpool 2017-2018 kit features a special anniversary crest. Contrary to initial expectations, this logo is "just" the regular Liverbird with 1892 and 2017 written next to it, and "125 Years" underneath.
