Under Armour to Become AS Monaco Kit Supplier
Under Armour has contacted AS Monaco to express its interesting in making the kits of the Monegasque club, according to information of French radio station RMC Sport. AS Monaco is under contract with Nike until 2019, while the club is set to starts negotiations about a new contract in the coming weeks.
Thanks to a very successful campaign so far, AS Monaco will exhaust its entire stock of jerseys before the end of the season for the first time ever. This, together with Monaco's success in the Champions League, is expected to allow the club to upgrade its contract with Nike. The number of jerseys sold is between 180,000 and 200,000, exceeding the sales of Olympique Lyonnaises, which are estimated at 180,000.

Thanks to recent sales records, AS Monaco hopes to improve its contract with Nike significantly. RMC reports that the club will renegotiate its contract in the coming weeks.
RMC also reports that the American brand Under Armour, which wants to establish itself in European football, has contacted Monaco and expressed its interest in becoming an equipment manufacturer. The club did not wish to comment on this information.
