Pep Guardiola Drops Copa Mundial for Classy Cruyff Boots

Pep Guardiola, Manchester City coach and an Adidas ambassador not too long ago, has switched to the brand of his former coach, FC Barcelona and Ajax legend Johan Cruyff.

Guardiola Debuts Cruyff Match Boots

A very classic look, the Cruyff Match boots are black with golden brandings. These include the Cruyff logo on the tongue, the former player's signature on the outstep and his name across the heel.

The boots combine calf and kangaroo leather for the upper and feature a traditional sole plate, colored white, with black conical studs.

Having signed with Bayern Munich in 2013, Guardiola became an official Adidas brand ambassador and appeared in a number of ads for the brand, including the famous announcement video for the then new Ace and X silos. He was wearing Adidas Copa Mundial boots up until last season.
