Manchester City striker Raheem Sterling has totally surprisingly switched from the Nike Mercurial Vapor to the Nike Hypervenom Phantom. He already debuted the low-cut Nike Hypervenom Phantom III football boots in the pre-season friendly against Real Madrid.

Sterling wore a non-modified version of the Black and Laser Orange Nike Hypervenom Phantom III 'Lock In Let Loose' football boots.

It was the first time ever that Raheem Sterling did not lace up in the Nike Mercurial Vapor football boot in an official match as he already wore Nike boots when he made his Liverpool debut in a Premier League defeat against Wigan Athletic in 2012.
