Red Bull Salzburg To Have Special Kit Sponsor For 'Rookie of the Match'

Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg have announced a jersey sponsor for the sleeves and the youngest player of the starting XI. The rookie of the match in the club's starting XI will wear a special shirt featuring the logo of the club's new premium partner Rauch, an Austrian fruit juice company. Rauch is the exclusive bottler ('co-packer') for Red Bull.

The Austrian Bundesliga allows clubs with a new regulation in their guidelines that "one player on the pitch on any given matchday can wear a kit with a different sponsor than other players."

The new Rauch Red Bull Salzburg deal is reported to be worth 2.1 million Euro / season.

Rauch has already been listed as a sponsor of both Red Bull clubs (RB Leipzig & Red Bull Salzburg) in the past. The Rauch logo can be also seen on the Formula 1 cars of the company.
