Better Look: FC Barcelona Players Will Have 'Barcelona' Printed on Their Backs Today
Update: FC Barcelona shared a better look at the kits to be worn against Betis today.
The FC Barcelona players will wear 'Barcelona' instead of their name on the shirt in Sunday's La Liga game against Betis, as a tribute to the victims of the recent attacks in Barcelona and Cambrils. The club thanked the Spanish football federation for greenlighting the move.
The label #TotsSomBarcelona (We are all Barcelona) will also be present in the front of the shirt.
In addition to these tributes, before the start of match and all others in Spain and around Europe, a minute of silence will be held. Likewise, players of all Barcelona teams will wear a black armband in all matches played over the weekend.
