Leaked: Adidas to Bring Back 2006 Teamgeist Logo + Boot / Kit Designs For 2018-19 Season?
Adidas will bring back the iconic Teamgeist football logo for the 2018-19 season. It is set to be used in Adidas' football campaign for the 18-19 season, which will be launched shortly after the 2018 World Cup.
2018-2019 Adidas Football Campaign Brings Back 2006 Teamgeist Logo
The Adidas 2018-2019 soccer campaign will be headlined by the brand's best players (Luis Suarez, Gareth Bale, Paul Pogba and certainly also Lionel Messi). The campaign style is heavily inspired by the style used 12 years ago for the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
In 2006, for the World Cup in Germany, Adidas presented their revolutionary but not perfect Adidas Teamgeist football. Totally different from previous models, the ball had just 14 panels and was heavily criticized for its flight characteristics.
It is virtually confirmed that Adidas' 2018-2019 football campaign will heavily rely on the 2006 Adidas football style, which makes it also possible that the jerseys / boots of the Three Stripes will somehow bring back the style of 2006, just as the brand has done it this season with 1980s and 1990s-inspired designs.
What do you think of Adidas' idea to bring back the Teamgeist logo? Do you look forward to see Adidas' football boot and kit designs for the 2018-2019 season? Do you think that we will see designs from 2006 for the 18-19 season? Let us know in the comments below.
