Update - Adidas Creates 'Classic' Adidas Predator 18 K-Leather Boots Exclusively For Their Professionals
Update: Real Madrid defender Nacho Fernandez has posted a picture of his custom Adidas Predator 18.1 k-leather soccer cleats, perfectly showing off the Kangaroo leather in the forefoot area as well as the other customizations such as the collar.
Nacho Fernandez Shows Off Adidas' Player-Exclusive Predator 18.1 Leather Boots
On Friday, we exclusively revealed that all players directly sponsored by Adidas received a custom version of the Adidas Predator 18 soccer cleat featuring a totally different collar than the retail edition of the Adidas Predator 18. Now we also spotted that there is actually also a leather version of the Adidas Predator 18 boots that Adidas does not sell to the public.
Adidas Creates Adidas Predator K-Leather Version Solely For Their Players
Close-up with the boots worn by Mats Hummels.
The players' exclusive Adidas Predator 18.1 leather football boot has less to do with the standard edition of the Adidas Predator 18.1 football boots as the front part is not made of a synthetic material but from soft leather. The collar is also different to the one of the Adidas Predator 18.1 standard edition.
Adidas Ace 17.1 Leather
The Adidas Predator 18.1 is only available as synthetic editon
In fact, the complete upper of the players' exclusive Adidas Predator 18.1 leather soccer cleats is virtually identical to the Adidas Ace 17.1 leather football boots. The only difference is that Adidas sold that version to the public, while the Adidas Predator 18.1 leather soccer cleats are not sold anywhere.

All this is quite frustrating and also a bit confusing for fans of the original Adidas Predator soccer cleat as all of the most iconic Predators ever released and also the (strictly limited-edition) remakes Adidas launched this year featured Kangaroo leather uppers.
Should Adidas release a leather version of the Adidas Predator 18 soccer cleats? Are you also very unhappy that you don't get the same products as Adidas' players? Let us know in the comments below.
