All Nike World Cup Kits Will Have Off-Centered Front Numbers
We are back with more info on Nike's World Cup kits. Whereas Adidas and Puma's jersey launches for the biggest tournament in football are already semi complete, the Swoosh is keeping things on hold until March 2018.
This doesn't mean we can't bring you a few details on the Nike 2018 World Cup jerseys right now. After it was initially expected that they would generally be more unique and feature bold graphic prints, the first leaks have pointed at more understated designs in line with the last few years.
However, there'll be a key difference in the Swoosh's World Cup shirts and it's the front number positioning. For the first time ever, all of Nike's international jerseys will see those numbers placed off-center, on the right side below the brand logo, to be exact.
This style used to be quite popular between 2006 and 2012, especially at Adidas and Puma, although a few Nike kits had it, too. This time around, all of the brands kits, from England and France to Brazil and Portugal will have it, a rather bold move.
What do you think of this move? Do you prefer it over traditional, centered numbers? Drop us a line below, and check out the World Cup Kit Overview for all the latest leaks and releases.
