Adidas Ace -> Adidas A | Has Adidas Already Killed Off The Adidas Ace Boot Forever or Will We See a Last Goodbye Edition?
Adidas has quietly discontinued the Adidas Ace soccer cleat silo ahead of the launch of the all-new Adidas Predator 18 football boots...
Adidas Ace16+ Renamed to Adidas A 16+ For Possibly Last Ultra Boost Release
Adidas this week released three new Adidas Ace-inspired Ultra Boost sneakers, including one goodbye edition that merges the most popular designs of previous Adidas Ace 16+ Ultra Boost in one boot. However, while the sneaker is actually the same as before from a tech-point of view, Adidas called them just Adidas A 16+ Ultra Boost instead of Adidas Ace 16+ Ultra Boost, discontinuing the Adidas Ace 16+ Ultra Boost silo.
However, it is not certain yet that this has been all as there is at least still the possibility that Adidas will officially announce the end of the Ace boot silo (they boldly announced that the Adidas Predator would be history in 2015...), and it fans of the Adidas Ace would surely also be happy if Adidas would release a 'goodbye' edition of the Adidas Ace 17+ Purecontrol soccer cleats.
In fact, Nike released a very popular, special blackout Nike CTR 360 Maestri Boot 'goodbye edition' as the last ever colorway for the silo in 2014 ahead of the launch of the Nike Magista. This was likely due to the fact that Nike did not announce anything when they discontinued the Total 90 one year before, making fans of the silo angry.
Do you think that there will there be a goodbye edition of the Adidas Ace soccer cleats? Will Adidas officially announce that they discontinued the Adidas Ace? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
Toronto Police Seize Record 16,000+ Counterfeit Shirts Worth CA$3.5M
Toronto police have carried out the largest seizure of counterfeit soccer jerseys in Canadian history, recovering more than 16,000 fake items with FIFA, Nike, Adidas and Puma branding, as well as flags and two counterfeit FIFA World Cup trophies. The haul has an estimated street value of CA$3.5 million and includes replicas of Team Canada, Argentina, Portugal and Croatia kits. Two suspects, 41-year-old Ramy Jaber and 62-year-old Walid Sarhan, were arrested after police acted on a tip about a Mississauga warehouse and executed a search warrant.
The pair allegedly supplied the fraudulent merchandise to retail stores through a legitimate trading company, with customers charged full price under the impression they were buying authentic products. Some NFL jerseys were also recovered in the operation.
