Mexico's 2018 World Cup home kit was just released last Saturday. However, it was nothing new for every avid kit news follower as the first picture of the Adidas Mexico 2018 World Cup jerseys already emerged in January 2017.

Now we finally likely also know why Mexico's jerseys were leaked almost one year ahead of the official reveal while all other Adidas 2018 World Cup home kits were leaked just a few weeks ahead of their launch...

Mexico's 2018 World Cup Kits Are Made in Mexico - Reason For Early Kit Leak?

In opposite to the shirts of the likes of Germany, Spain and Belgium, Mexico's 2018 World Cup jerseys were not made in Southeast Asia but in Mexico as aboves video reveals. This was also very likely the reason why the first pictures of Mexico's 2018 World Cup jerseys already emerged in January 2017 as anyone managed to make a picture of the jerseys months ahead of the release.

However, of course it is not not certain if the picture emerged so early because Mexico's kits are made in Mexico.

There are some national team kits that are not made abroad such as Adidas' Argentina jerseys, which are traditionally made in Argentina.
