Manchester United 18-19 Home Kit Design Leaked

The rumor mill was rumbling about it before, but now it looks like it we could have confirmation. A new leaked ball from the Adidas Manchester United 18-19 collection hints at the next Red Devils home shirt, which was previously described as "basically not a United kit."

Manchester United 18-19 Home Kit

This is the ball in the design of the Manchester United 2018-2019 home shirt.

Besides confirming the shade of red to be used as well as the lack of white on the Manchester United 18-19 home kit, the ball reveals a graphic gradient design. Especially in this application it fits all too well with the previously leaked description which said the jersey would be "inspired by the railway men that formed the club."

Manchester United was formed in 1878 as Newton Heath LYR Football Club by the Carriage and Wagon department of the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway depot at Newton Heath. With railways in the 19th century often being red with much black, it seems 'clever' by Adidas to take this as basement for the much black.

Combined with the fact that black shorts will be the first choice for the Manchester United 18-19 kit, we'll likely see this type of gradient towards the bottom of the shirt (a bit like on Franco Carabajal's prediction)

Also via the ball and previous sources, the Adidas stripes and logo on the Manchester United 2018-19 jersey will be black instead of the usual white.

The new Manchester United 2018-2019 home kit is set for a release in May 2018.
