Nike Tiempo Legend Sergio Ramos 'Corazón y Sangre' Limited-Edition Boots Revealed

Nike this morning unveiled a signature edition of the Tiempo Legend VII football boots for Real Madrid and Spain defender Sergio Ramos, dubbed 'Corazón y Sangre' (Heart and Blood). The first-ever signature boots for Ramos, the Nike Tiempo Legend 'Corazón y Sangre' cleats will go on sale on December 19, 2017, limited to 4,000 pairs.

Joining the likes of Ronaldinho, Totti and Pirlo, Ramos becomes the first defender to receive his own player-edition Nike Tiempo football boots. Paying homage to the defender's roots and values, the Nike Tiempo Ramos signature cleats are called the 'Corazón y Sangre' edition.

Designed by Nike with influence from Ramos. The pearl leather colorway is inspired by Ramos' love for white Andalusian horses, something that's also prevalent in the new SR4 logo appearing on the heel, which incorporates a horseshoe in the R. Nods to Spain and Andalusia can also be found on the lace aglets, which feature the respective flags together with the names of Ramos' children.

Marco and Sergio Jr. also appear within the elaborate crest that adores the sockliner and boot bag, while 'Rn'R' is written on the tongue as a reference to Ramos and (Pilar) Rubio, his longtime love. '90+' appears inside the crest as well as a reference to Ramos' notoriety for scoring late and decisive goals.

“After so many years playing football there’s a boot that expresses the way I feel and who I am, they tell my story. Every element here is personal. It is a dream come true," says Ramos. "Corazón y Sangre — these two words are important to me. Heart is about my commitment to what I do. And blood is what’s in your DNA, what you have inside to become the best."

4,000 pairs of the Nike Tiempo Sergio Ramos 'Corazón y Sangre' boots will go on sale on December 19, 2017, at Nike select retailers and a special House of SR4 pop-up in Madrid. Sergio Ramos will wear the boots this weekend. The RRP is USD 250.
