Nike today revealed some of their biggest football innovations at a special event in London. The Nike soccer innovations in the year of the World Cup bring players revolutionary products such as strapless goalkeeper gloves, the next-generation Nike Mercurial and cutting-edge new shin guards.

Nike Mercurial Superfly VI & Nike Mercurial Vapor XII

The all-new Nike Mercurial Superfly VI boots are Nike's most innovative boot to date featuring a lightweight and flexible upper with a uniquely constructed collar. The Nike Mercurial Vapor XII are Nike's first knitted Vapor cleat (there is no more synthetic Mercurial boot available anymore for the first time in the history of the silo).

Nike Mercurial Touch Elite Goalkeeper Gloves

The first cutting-edge high-end gloves without a traditional wrap system ,the Nike Mercurial Touch Elite gloves reduce the bulk and stiffness of traditional mitts to unleash the ultimate potential of a goalkeeper's hands.

Nike Merlin - First Ball With ACC

The Nike Merlin football for the 2018-2019 season incorporates advanced design, materials and construction such as an all-new four panel construction and Nike ACC technology. It will be available Summer 2018.

Mercurial Flylite SuperLock Shin Guards

The new shin guards feature small spikes on top of the face of the guard that safely pierce the sock, locking it into place. The game-changing design will be available Fall 2018.

However, these innovations are not everything that Nike will bring out this year - the Swoosh will also release a revolutionary snood as well as an all-new football boot, the Nike FTR10.
