Nike Air VaporMax Flyknit Fast AF Shoes Released

Nike this week released a special new colorway of the Nike Air VaporMax Flyknit running shoes, complementing the new Nike Fast AF soccer cleat collection.

"It's changed our whole philosophy on how we design for Air", says Cushioning Innovation Designer Zachary Elder. With the VaporMax, the designers wanted to truly capture the feeling of "running on air". The designers started by restructuring the Air unit so they could attach it directly to the upper. "That was the biggest challenge", says Tom Minami, Senior Footwear Designer—but it was worth it. "Without any midsole or sockliner, you get to feel the Air in a whole new way".

This is the new Nike Air VaporMax Fast AF.

Just as the football boots of the Nike Fast AF collection, the new Nike Air VaporMax Flyknit Fast FA paint job pairs a black upper with vibrant orange accent for maximum pop.

Tech-wise, the Nike Air VaporMax Flyknit is the same as all previous releases of Nike's running shoe. The Nike Air VaporMax Flyknit Men's Running Shoe offers a lightweight, bouncy ride for a gravity-defying sensation underfoot and Flyknit fabric for a snug, flawless fit.

The black and 'Rush Orange' Nike Air VaporMax Flyknit retails at a price of 170 GBP.
