Philadelphia Union prodigy Cavan Sullivan has offered another glimpse into the future of football footwear, revealing two brand-new colorways of his custom Adidas 3D-printed boots. White/Black Adidas Project R.A.P. 3D-Printed Boots
The new white/black Adidas 3D-printed boots feature a predominantly white lattice shell accented by bold black Three Stripes on the instep, black laces, and an integrated tongue unit.
As with his previous pairs, subtle national flags representing Sullivan's American, German, and Bangladeshi heritage are featured near the collar. The clean aesthetic provides a stark contrast to the red and black design showcased just days earlier.
Sullivan made football history in July 2026 when he debuted the technology in a professional match against the New York Red Bulls, sporting an initial pink and red "Solar Turbo" prototype.
These cutting-edge boots are developed under Adidas' Project R.A.P. (Radical Athlete Perception), the German brand's dedicated innovation initiative exploring bespoke additive manufacturing in elite sports.
Adidas utilized detailed 3D foot scans, pressure mapping, and gait analysis to engineer a tailor-made lattice structure that adapts precisely to Sullivan's foot shape, offering zoned flexibility, midfoot volume support, and lightweight stability.
At present, Adidas has not announced any commercial release plans, keeping the 3D-printed boots as ultra-exclusive prototypes for its top athletes.
