LEAKED: Is This Adidas' Response to the Nike Vapor Touch Elite Goalkeeper Gloves?
Following Nike's unveiling of the all-new, strapless Vapor Touch Elite goalkeeper gloves, lots of people have wondered what Adidas has lined up for this summer's World Cup.
Recently, a number of pictures supposedly showing Adidas' 2018 World Cup goalkeeper gloves have been doing the rounds online. It all started with a post by Italian Instagram account @il_portiere_ late last month but has picked up steam lately with many more accounts sharing the same pictures.
Having been sent the same posts and images repeatedly, our first reaction was to disregard them as some private design and marketing project and a simple reverse image search confirms this.
All of the graphics were created by a Miguel Herrera who shared them on the ArtStation platform less a month ago. Check out some full resolution pictures below.
Although we cannot show you a picture of the Adidas 2018 World Cup gloves, we can confirm that there won't be a 3-striped alternative to the strapless Nike gloves as Adidas will simply keep its current model and release it in a colorway to match the yellow and red Predator cleats.
