AS Roma Qatar Airways Shirt Sponsorship

This picture shows the Qatar Airways logo on the front of the Roma 2017-18 jersey.

Becoming only the 7th AS Roma shirt sponsor in 90 years of club history, Qatar Airways will appear on the front of the AS Roma kits until at least the end of the 2020-21 season.

No financial details on the AS Roma Qatar Airways deal were officially revealed. The deal is reported to be worth around 40 million Euro for three years - the club statement says it's the biggest commercial deal in club history and "one of the biggest ever" amongst all Italian clubs.

Having parted ways with Wind in 2013, AS Roma have been sproting clean, sponsorless kits for the past five years.

"We are delighted to announce this historic partnership between AS Roma and Qatar Airways, two great brands with global ambitions," AS Roma president Jim Pallotta said.

"Today’s announcement is the result of discussions behind the scenes for over eight months with Qatar Airways, led by our commercial team in London with much assistance from the entire Roma team, and comes at a significant time in the club’s history, on and off the pitch."

"With a new stadium due to begin construction late this year and the team in the Champions League semi-final for the first time for 34 years, it’s an exciting time to be a Roma fan. We shall be proud to wear the Qatar Airways name on our shirts and we look forward to working together to achieve sporting and commercial success for many years to come.”

Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, said: “We are very pleased to announce this new partnership, which will see Qatar Airways become the official shirt sponsor of AS Roma through the 2020-21 season.

"AS Roma is one of the most successful and well-known football clubs in the world, and our shared passion to strive for excellence and innovation make this a natural partnership. As an airline, we understand the power of sport in bringing people together, and our new partnership with AS Roma further underscores this belief. We look forward to working together and celebrating with AS Roma fans all over the globe.”

Original UEFA Super Cup Sleeve Badge Was Removed

At the 2026 UEFA Super Cup, Paris Saint-Germain and Aston Villa wore the reigning Champions League and Europa League title-holder patches, respectively. This change started last year during the Super Cup clash between PSG and Tottenham Hotspur.

From 1998 to 2024, both teams competing in the UEFA Super Cup wore a single, generic tournament patch featuring the Super Cup trophy.

While PSG will continue wearing their Champions League patch throughout their continental campaign, Aston Villa's reigning Europa League champions patch will make its one and only appearance at the Super Cup. For their upcoming Champions League campaign, Villa will switch to a special Starball patch designated specifically for the reigning Europa League winners.

PSG Debut Retro-Inspired Champions League Font in UEFA Super Cup

Paris Saint-Germain officially debuted their special cup font for their 26-27 home jersey during the 2026 UEFA Super Cup clash against Aston Villa. The nameset made a striking visual statement on the pitch, featuring player names enclosed in sharp white rectangular boxes alongside 3D-styled squad numbers.

This unique typography takes direct inspiration from the legendary font worn by PSG during their victorious 95-96 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup campaign - the first major European trophy in the club's history.

While the streamlined standard typeface will continue to be used in domestic Ligue 1 matches, this nostalgic 90s-style font is set to be worn exclusively during their Champions League title defense.

Aston Villa 26-27 Third Kit Variation Debut

Following the 2026 UEFA Super Cup last night, we have got the first look at Aston Villa's new combination for their recently-released third kit.

Not being able to use the original version with claret shorts and socks due to kit clash against PSG, The Villans use white shorts and socks along with sky blue shirt to create an eye-catching look. Unlike many people's predictions, sky blue was not chosen by the club and Adidas for this variation.

Notably, these shorts and socks choices could very likely be inter-changeable between home and third kits, since both jerseys share similar color combinations.

Clermont Foot 63 26-27 Away Kit Released

French club Clermont Foot 63 and Kappa have officially unveiled the team's new away kit for the 26-27 season. Following the release of the home jersey earlier in the month, the new away shirt brings a refined lifestyle-inspired aesthetic to the Ligue 2 side.

The Clermont Foot 63 26-27 away shirt features an off-white fabric base with subtle pinkish reflections under light. Deep navy blue detailing provides sharp contrast throughout, highlighting the structured polo collar, sleeve cuffs, and sponsor logos. Instead of the traditional club crest, the shirt uses a monochrome navy silhouette of the Vercingetorix equestrian statue, accompanied by signature Kappa Omini logo tape running down the shoulders.

Completing the range, both short-sleeve and long-sleeve versions of the kit have been launched. The Clermont Foot 26-27 away jersey is available immediately through the club's official online store and stadium boutique.
