Jamie Vardy has been buying his own boots following a disagreement with sponsors Nike, it has been revealed by the Daily Mail.

Jamie Vardy is wearing the Anti-Clog version of the Nike Mercurial Superfly CR7 cleats.
The Leicester City striker and England international split his usual pair in Leicester City's 2-1 defeat at Everton on January 31. It is understood that Nike wanted to replace them with 'a new style of boots (either another silo or the all-new next-generation Nike Mercurial Superfly), which the 31-year-old is not thought to be a fan of.
Jamie Vardy has opted to buy his own pair of football boots, the Nike Mercurial Superfly Cristiano Ronaldo signature boots. The Foxes' man has since bought more pairs of CR7s, and scored three times in consecutive games and six times in nine matches waering them.
Daily Mail reports that Vardy, whose contract with Nike is set to expire at the end of the season, will keep wearing the CR7s until further notice.
