Hideous? Uhlsport Elysia Ligue 1 18-19 Ball Released
The LFP and uhlsport this week unveiled the league's official match ball for the 2018-2019 season. Uhlsport replaced Adidas as ball maker of the first French division ahead of the 2017-18 season. The brand will make the official ball of Ligue 1 Conforama for at least five seasons.
This ball will be used for the first time on August 4th in the French Super Cup match between PSG and AS Monaco in Shenzhen (China).
Uhlsport Elysia Ligue 1 18-19 Official Match Ball
Again based on Uhlsport's latest and best ball, the Elysia, the new Ligue 1 Uhlsport 2018-19 official match ball of the competition boasts a bold new color combination. The ball is white with garish elements in navy, pink and yellow.
Tech-wise, the new Uhlsport Ligue 1 18-19 ball is the same as the one of the 2017-18 season. The Elysia ball concentrates the quintessence of uhlsport technological know-how. The "exclusive and innovative design has been specially developed for the Ligue 1 Conforama. The name is double reference to the Elyos fields of mythology "reserved for virtuous men and heroes" and the place of French victories celebration".

Nike's preparations for the 2026 World Cup are being finalized with the reveal of the new Turkey pre-match shirt.
Rather than receiving a bespoke design, the new Nike Turkey 2026 World Cup pre-match jersey utilizes a highly visible, streamlined template that the American sportswear brand will be rolling out across its wider portfolio of sponsored national federations.
The defining feature of the Turkey 2026 pre-match shirt is its bold, all-over geometric graphic. The template consists of tightly packed, wavy zig-zag lines that warp and curve to create a dynamic optical illusion across the entire torso and sleeves. For the Turkish national team, this busy pattern is executed in vibrant, contrasting shades of red and dark orange.
Nike is applying this exact same streamlined template to several other national teams, simply adjusting the color palettes to suit each country. European sides like Norway and Finland, alongside South American heavyweights Uruguay, will all sport identical pre-match designs featuring their respective national colors applied to the same wavy graphic.
