Horrible? Adidas France 1998 World Cup Special Edition Kit Revealed
Adidas released a special jersey for yesterday's gala match between the France 1998 World Cup team and a World XI to celebrate the 20th anniversary of France's 1998 World Cup title. Thanks to footpack for some of the pictures.
Adidas France 1998 World Cup 20th Anniversary Jersey
This is the Adidas France 1998 World Cup World Cup 20th Anniversary shirt.
Inspired by the 1998 World Cup-winning France jersey, the Adidas France 2018 World Cup World Cup 20th Anniversary shirt is blue with red sleeves and a white lines pattern on the front. The kit has been created using miadidas, Adidas' customization service for football kits. It has less in common with the original design.
On the lower right part of the jersey is a special label to honor the 20th anniversary of France's World Cup title.
To make things worse, the Adidas France 1998 World Cup World Cup 20th Anniversary 2018 jersey does not come with the logo of the France Football Federation but with a cheap-looking generic France crest. This is because Nike is now the sponsor of the France national team.
It is unlikely that the Adidas France 1998 World Cup jersey will be sold in official Adidas stores.
