Black History Month is an annual observance which remembers and pays tribute to important moments in the history of African diaspora. It is celebrated in the UK in October, while the United States celebrate it in February.

Ryan Bertrand's special Nike Mercurial Vapor 360 boots feature the face of Martin Luther King on the outstep, along with his iconic quote: "I have a dream." Bertrand's number 21 is also emblazoned on the heel of the footwear.

Bertrand's boots have not been created by Nike but by an independent boot artist.
