Adidas this week released the much awaited, all-new next-generation Adidas Copa 19 soccer boots. Adidas actually only showed off the all-new futuristic laceless version, but there is also a laces version for the traditionalists set to be used by many Adidas players such as Toni Kroos. We compare the laceless Adidas Copa 19+ with the laces Adidas Copa 19.1.

Collar / Laces

The main difference between the Adidas Copa 19+ football boots and the Adidas Copa 19.1 is that the Copa 19+ has no laces while the Copa 19.1 has laces. The Adidas Copa 19+ provides a real sock like fit, whereas the Adidas Copa 19.1 has a monotongue construction. The construction of both boots is also different.

Upper

Both the Adidas Copa 19+ and the Copa 19.1 feature the same Fushionskin k-leather upper. The Adidas Copa 19+, however, provides a cleaner touch on the strike zone as they do not have the laces.

The design of both boots is similar with remarkable differences. The Adidas Copa 19+ has the Three Stripes on the instep, while the Adidas Copa 19.1 has them on the outstep. The Adidas Copa 19+ also uses more red for a futuristic design, e.g. in the collar area.

The sole plates of the Adidas Copa 19+ soccer cleat and the Adidas Copa 19.1 soccer cleat are identical apart from the visual design.
