1999 Treble-Inspired Adidas Manchester United 19-20 Icon Retro Jersey Released
The Adidas Manchester United 19-20 Icon retro long-sleeve jersey has been released. It is set to be available globally from today.
The new shirt continues last year's tradition, which saw Adidas release an 'Icon Collection' with classic shirts for all of its elite teams.
Manchester United 19-20 Icon Retro Jersey - Real Red / White
This is the limited-edition Manchester United 2019-2020 Icon retro shirt.
The Adidas Manchester United 2019 LS Retro kit is mainly 'real red', which is the color used for the 2018-2019 home kit. The red base is paired with much white and a bit of black on the collar, including a monochrome white / silver club badge on the left chest.
Adidas added a small text commemorating the 1999 Treble win between the brand and club logos.
Template-wise, the Manchester United Icon jersey is based on the same roughly the same one used for the Arsenal version, but since it features fewer colors and comes without the large 3 Stripes on the fronts, it has a much cleaner overall aesthetic.
Unlike last year's Icon retro jersey, the Man Utd 2019 retro has long sleeves. A short sleeve version won't be available.
