Special Adidas Predator Edwin van Der Sar '08 Keeper Gloves Released
Adidas has released a special edition pair of goalkeeper gloves for former Manchester United keeper Edwin van der Sar to honor his extraordinary performance in the 2008 Champions League final against Chelsea FC. Thanks to Unisportstore for the pictures.
Edwin van der Sar ended his career after the 2010-11 season and is now CEO at Ajax. He sometimes still joins team training.
Adidas Predator Pro EVDS 08 Goalkeeper Gloves - Black / White / Solar Red
Inspired by his gloves worn in the 2008 Champions League final, the new SE Adidas Predator Pro van Der Sar gloves are white, black and Solar Red, based on the latest Adidas goalkeeper glove model. The black / white colors are inverted for the right and the left glove.
Tech-wise, the Adidas Predator Pro EVDS 08 Goalkeeper Gloves are the same as the regular colorways of the Adidas Predator Pro. They have a Primeknit fabric of the body of the glove, a Predator Element on the first blocking areas as well as new Stretch-Strap system that adjusts the glove by generating tension from the backhand.
The Adidas Predator Pro EVDS 08 Goalkeeper Gloves retail at 130 Euro.
