1999-Inspired Special-Edition Puma Palmeiras 2019 Copa Libertadores Kit Revealed
Brazilian club Palmeiras and their still quite new kit supplier Puma this morning released a new special-edition kit to be worn in the Copa Libertadores.
Inspired by the shirt worn by legendary keeper Marcos when the club won their only the Copa Libertadores 20 years ago in 1999, the jersey is blue. It will be only used in the Libertadores and is set for a debut against Peru's Melgar on March 12.

The new Palmeiras Copa Libertadores football shirt is predominantly blue with white sleeves and details in dark blue on the sides, the collar and the sleeve cuffs.
The Palmeiras crest is placed centrally, just as it was in 1999, and the Puma logo appears in white on the right side of the 2019 Copa Libertadores shirt.
On the back of the Palmeiras 2019 Copa Libertadores soccer jersey, just below the collar, there's a special logo commemorating the 1999 title.
An initial batch of 1,999 of the Palmeiras Copa Libertadores shirts, signed by the famous goalkeeper, will be sold at a higher price than usual (approx. €190), with more units going on sale at a regular price later on (€60).
