Adidas Finally Changes Women's Replica Kit Versions
Already almost four years ago, Adidas came under fire for the plunging neckline of their first Adidas Manchester United Ladies home kit. Now it seems like that the brand has changed its Women's collar kit style finally for all of their jerseys.
New Adidas Women's Replica Cut Style
The new Adidas Women's replica comes into effect with the first big Adidas kit releases of 2019, the Adidas 2019 Copa America kits for Argentina, Colombia and Mexico. The new Ladies versions of the Women's kit comes with a much more normal cut that is not sexist at all - finally.
Interestingly, Adidas' 2018 MLS Women's jerseys already featured the updated neckline. The 2018-2019 Adidas club jerseys of the likes of Real Madrid featured the old Women's neckline style.
Adidas Women's teams did never use the plunging neckline - the plunging neckline was a feature of the replica kits only.
Nike already reacted to criticism about the cut of the Women's kit versions in late 2016. They changed the neckline for their Women's kits for all of their kits since then.
