Bundesliga Logo: Goretzka Wears WRONG SHIRT vs Liverpool
Playing against Liverpool in the Champions League, Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka actually wore a Bundesliga shirt. Thanks to our follower Marcel for the heads-up!
Goretzka, who was subbed on in the second half, had the wrong shirt on. Instead of the iconic Starball, the Bundesliga patch can be seen on the right sleeve, with the Qatar Airways sponsor patch on the other side - sleeve sponsors are actually not permitted in the Champions League.
There is another difference between the two shirts, with the actual Champions League shirts not featuring the team name on the back. However, this 'mistake' was not repeated on Goretzka's shirt against Liverpool.
