The 1986 FIFA World Cup, the 13th FIFA World Cup, was held in Mexico from 31 May to 29 June 1986. Colombia had been originally chosen to host the competition by FIFA but, largely due to economic reasons, was not able to do so and officially resigned in 1982

The 1986 World Cup kit heavily dominated by Adidas, who make the jerseys for half of the 24 World Cup teams. French brand Le Coq Sportif also managed to sign deals with many nations, including World Cup champions Argentina. Brazil's kit is made by Topper, England's and Scotland's kits are made by Umbro.


The most famous jersey of the 1986 World Cup is the one of Denmark from Hummel, for sure.
